The Berber toad, Mauritanian toad, crapaud de Maurétanie, crapaud pantherin, or sapo moruno (''Bufo mauritanicus'') is a species of toad in the Bufonidae family. It is found in northern Africa: Algeria, Morocco (and the two Spanish cities in northern Africa Ceuta y Melilla), Tunisia, and possibly Western Sahara. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, rivers, freshwater marshes, intermittent freshwater marshes, arable land, pastureland, and plantations.
